Writing Your First Prompt
A prompt is just what you type. Here's the recipe.
The simple recipe
Tell the AI three things: WHO it is, WHAT you want, and HOW you want it.
Example
"You are a friendly bakery owner (WHO). Write a short Instagram post about our new chocolate croissant (WHAT). Make it warm, under 50 words, and end with a question (HOW)."
Try these copy-paste prompts
- "Act like a marketing coach. Give me 5 post ideas for my [type of business]."
- "Rewrite this email to sound more friendly and confident: [paste email]"
- "Summarize this in 3 bullet points a busy owner can read in 10 seconds: [paste text]"
- "I sell ___. Write a 30-second video script that explains why people should buy from me."
If you don't like the answer
Just say "shorter," "more casual," "add humor," or "try a different angle." Keep going until it sounds like you. AI is a conversation, not a slot machine.
